ADLANTE terms for spaces
The contract between ADLANTE and whoever opens a space. In short: ADLANTE provides the platform; you sell and you are responsible for what you sell, and the money from your sales goes straight to your Stripe account.

DRAFT. This text has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer: it may change before it is final.
1. Who we are and who this applies to
ADLANTE is a service of [Missing: the name or company of ADLANTE] (in these terms, “ADLANTE” or “we”), with registered address at [Missing: ADLANTE’s address], tax number [Missing: ADLANTE’s tax number] and email soporte@adlante.com. All its details are in the legal notice.
These terms are the contract between ADLANTE and the person or company that opens a space on ADLANTE (in these terms, “you” or “the space”). You accept them when you create your space and, if they change, again when you enter your panel.
ADLANTE is for professionals: schools, teachers, companies and anyone who teaches or sells their activity. To open a space you must be of legal age and, if you open it on behalf of a company or an association, have authority to bind it: then “you” means it.
The rules of use, the data processing agreement (your students’ data) and, for your own data, the ADLANTE privacy policy are part of this contract, and you accept them with it.
2. What ADLANTE does: it only provides the platform
ADLANTE gives you tools for your activity: your website, your panel, your shop, your video courses, your workshops and events (including those you organise with other spaces), the management of your students and their fees, and whatever we add.
ADLANTE does not sell anything to your students or buyers, does not buy anything and is not a party to what you sell. Nor does it collect payments on anyone’s behalf: your students’ payments are processed by Stripe directly in your own Stripe account, and ADLANTE only receives its commission and its fee.
ADLANTE is not your agent, representative, partner or employer. It does not review or approve what you publish before it goes live, does not choose or recommend your products and does not promise any sales results.
3. You are the seller and you are responsible
Towards your students and buyers, you are the seller. So everything to do with what you sell is your responsibility:
- What you offer and how you describe it: your classes, courses, events and products, their prices, dates and places, and that they are delivered as you said.
- Looking after your students and buyers: their questions, complaints, claims, refunds and their right of withdrawal where they have it.
- Card disputes (chargebacks): you resolve them with Stripe, and their cost is yours.
- Your invoices, receipts and taxes. ADLANTE does not issue or file them for you; if it gives you a receipt or helps you calculate something, that is not an invoice or tax advice.
- Your own terms and your privacy policy towards your students. ADLANTE gives you templates, but they are not legal advice: check them for your country and your activity.
- Complying with the laws that apply to you: consumer, e-commerce, data protection, minors, your sector (insurance, licences, permits) and your country’s laws.
- Saying who you are: your seller details must be true and up to date. ADLANTE shows them in your payments and your legal texts.
At every payment, ADLANTE tells the payer that you are the one selling to them and that, for questions or refunds, they should write to you. If a student or buyer writes to ADLANTE, we will tell them to contact you, and we may pass their message on to you.
4. Your account and your team
The details you open your space with must be true. Look after your way of signing in: what is done from your account is your responsibility. If you think someone has got in without permission, write to us straight away at soporte@adlante.com.
If you give access to your team (teachers, front desk), what they do in your space is your responsibility, and you decide what each of them sees. Give them access only to what they need.
5. Card payments: Stripe
To take card payments you connect your own Stripe account. That contract is between you and Stripe (Stripe’s connected account agreement, which you accept on its page). Stripe decides whether to open or keep your account, what details it asks you for, when it pays you and whether it holds a payment; ADLANTE cannot change that and is not responsible for it.
Stripe charges its own fee on each payment, separate from ADLANTE’s. ADLANTE does not store card numbers: Stripe does.
6. What you pay ADLANTE
What you pay, and when, is always in Your plan, in your panel: your website fee, the tools you turn on and what ADLANTE keeps from each sale. Those prices are part of this contract.
- It renews every month until you cancel it. Everything is paid together, once a month, with the card you add in Your plan.
- You can cancel whenever you like from your panel. What you paid for that month is not refunded, unless the law says otherwise, and you keep it until the month ends.
- If a price is going to go up, we will tell you at least 30 days before, and you can cancel before it goes up.
- If a payment fails, we tell you so you can fix it. If it remains unpaid, we may pause the paid tools and, after telling you again, suspend your space (part 8).
- Invoices for what you pay ADLANTE are issued by ADLANTE and are in Your plan. Any applicable taxes are added as the law requires.
7. Your content is yours, and you are responsible for it
What you upload (texts, photos, videos, music, fonts, logos, courses, products) remains yours. So that we can provide the service, you give us permission (a licence) to store it, copy it technically (for example, in several sizes or in backups), adapt it to the format of each screen and show it on your website and to whoever you decide, worldwide, free of charge and non-exclusively. It lasts as long as you have your space and the time it takes us to delete it afterwards.
We do not use your content to advertise ADLANTE without your permission, we do not sell it and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence.
You guarantee us that you have all the rights and permissions for what you upload: for the songs and videos, the photos and the people in them (with the permission of their parent or guardian if they are minors), the fonts and the brands, and that none of it breaks the law or the rules of use.
8. Removing content, suspending and closing
We may remove or stop showing content, limit a tool, or suspend or close a space if: it breaks these terms or the rules of use; there is a well-founded notice that something is illegal or infringes other people’s rights; an authority or a court orders us to; there is a risk to the security of ADLANTE, other spaces or people; there is fraud or a use that puts payments at risk; or payments to ADLANTE remain unpaid after we have told you.
We will do it proportionately, and we will tell you why: what we have done, for what reason (the law or the term that is being broken), whether it came from a notice and how you can complain. We will tell you beforehand or, if it is urgent, when we do it, unless the law or an authority prevents us.
If you disagree, reply to that notice or write to soporte@adlante.com: a person will review it, at no cost to you, and answer you. This does not stop you from going to court or using any other route the law gives you.
If we are going to close your space completely, we will tell you with our reasons at least 30 days beforehand, unless the law or an authority requires us to do it sooner, there is a serious risk (fraud, security, minors) or you repeat the same breach.
Outside those cases, we may stop providing the service to a space, or the whole service, giving at least 30 days’ notice.
9. If you leave or your space is closed
You can leave whenever you like: cancel what you pay in Your plan and write to us if you want us to delete your space.
When a space closes (because you leave, because it is no longer paid for or because we close it under part 8), its website, shop, courses, workshops and its students’ access end. Telling your students and buyers, and refunding whatever is due, is your responsibility, under your terms with them and the law.
- Download your students and your sales from your panel (or ask us for them).
- Tell your students that your space is closing and how you will carry on with them, especially those who pay you monthly or have a course or workshop ahead of them.
- Keep a copy of your photos, videos and texts: they are yours, but when your space is deleted they are deleted with it.
- Check your Stripe account: it is yours and stays open even if you leave ADLANTE; anything still pending in it (refunds, disputes) is still your responsibility.
Before you leave, take your data with you: your students, your payments and everything else you can download from your panel, or ask us for it. After closing, we keep your space for 90 days in case you want to come back or take something you are missing; after that we delete it, except what the law requires us to keep for longer (for example, invoices and proof of what you accepted). This is what the large platforms that do the same thing do.
10. The service, as is
We do our best to make ADLANTE work well and always, but we provide it as is and as available: we do not promise it will never fail, that it has no errors or that it suits a particular purpose of yours. There may be interruptions, for example to improve it.
We may change, improve or remove tools. If we remove something important that you pay for, we will tell you beforehand and you will stop paying for it.
Keep your own copies of whatever matters to you: your texts, photos, videos and lists.
11. How far ADLANTE is liable
ADLANTE is not liable for what you sell or how you sell it; for what happens between you and your students, buyers or team; for your content; for Stripe or other services you use; or for indirect damage (lost profits, loss of customers or reputation, or loss of data we did not cause).
In total, the most ADLANTE is liable to you for anything to do with this contract is what you paid it in the 12 months before whatever caused it.
None of this limits what the law does not allow to be limited: what we cause in bad faith or with gross negligence, harm to people, or rights the law gives you that cannot be taken away.
12. If someone claims against ADLANTE for something of yours
If a student, a buyer, a rights holder, an authority or anyone else makes a claim against ADLANTE because of what you sell, your content or because you break the law or this contract, you will take care of it: you will defend ADLANTE and pay what it costs it (whatever it has to pay and the reasonable costs of defending itself, including lawyers).
We will tell you as soon as we know, let you lead the defence if you wish and cooperate with you. We will not accept anything on your behalf without discussing it with you.
13. People’s data
The data of your students, your buyers and the other people in your space belong to you: you are the controller, and ADLANTE processes them only on your behalf, to provide the service, under the data processing agreement. You must give them your own privacy information and handle their rights (ADLANTE helps you).
ADLANTE processes your own data and your team’s as controller, under the ADLANTE privacy policy.
14. If these terms change
We will tell you about every change at least 15 days in advance, by email and in your panel, saying what changes. If the change is important, we will ask you to accept it when you enter.
If you disagree, you can leave before it takes effect, without paying anything for it. If you keep using ADLANTE afterwards, you are taken to accept it.
Only a change required by law or by an authority, or one needed for security or against fraud, applies before that period.
15. Everything else
- Notices: we write to your account email and in your panel; you write to soporte@adlante.com.
- If one part is not valid, the rest still is. If we do not enforce a part one day, that does not mean we give it up.
- You cannot transfer this contract to someone else without our permission. We can, to whoever continues to provide ADLANTE, letting you know.
- What depends on no one (a general internet outage, a disaster, a general strike) is not a breach.
- Law and courts: this contract is governed by the law of [Missing: ADLANTE’s country], and whatever cannot be settled by talking is decided by the courts of ADLANTE’s registered address, unless a law that cannot be changed says otherwise.
